Calibration and Production Release

Transmission calibration with SIL and HIL tests

GIF takes over the development and the release of calibration standards for production applications. Therefore the respective calibration is developed on the test bench, in the vehicle and by means of the corresponding vehicle models. Every calibration undergoes logical and functional scrutiny in systematic tests. These are carried out in SIL-test (software-in-the-loop: only software) as well as in HIL-tests (hardware-in-the-loop: with control unit).

Software application projects are often performed in close connection to test bench and transmission development projects and represent subtasks in major development projects. GIF tests their developments on the test bench and in the vehicle and also under extreme climatic conditions.
