Control Development

Prototype actuation made by GIF

GIF develops controls for new transmission concepts. Thus, parallel to the mechanical concept of Cone Ring Transmission GIF has also developed its control system.

The controls development is performed by means of simulation models, test benches and prototype vehicles. In the field of prototypes GIF uses engineering control instruments such as the Micro-Autobox of dSPACE and usually programs like MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.
